Il Divo
After a worldwide search, four internationally renowned young male singers come together to form a unique band. Called Il Divo (Italian for ‘divine performers’), the quartet uses operatic technique to breathe new life into popular hits like Un-break My Heart and classics like My Way. The young talents transform romantic songs using full orchestral accompaniment and take it to another level. Let’s hear it for Il Divo!

From: USA

Know Your Divo:
* Graduated with a BA in Vocal Performance and a Masters degree in Opera Theatre from the Oberlin Conservatory, Ohio.
* Has been based in New York for the past 10 years, sung over 45 operatic and music theatre leading roles across America, Australia and Europe including Westside Story at La Scala in Milan.
* David appeared on Broadway as Rodolfo in Baz Luhrman’s acclaimed production of Puccini’s La Boheme.

On The Band: “Since we first got into the studio the Il Divo sound has been evolving and what we’ve now created is something completely new and extremely exciting.”

From: France

Know Your Divo:
* Is the only self-taught singer in the group, plays the guitar, piano and is also an accomplished songwriter.
* In 2001 he performed with Johnny Haliday in sold-out performances at the Paris Olympia. In 2002 played one of the leading roles in the Richard Cocciante-penned musical Le Petit Prince.
* Sebastien was working on a solo album when he joined Il Divo in 2003 and plans to contribute original material to the group’s repertoire.
