This band that identifies itself with its unique sound ‘demonic metal’ got together in the year 2000 under the name of Demonic Resurrection of which the Demonstealer is the only one who has remained a permanent fixture. Hats off to these guys who stick to playing original set lists, except for their cover of Dimmu Borgir’s Speelbound.

The Highlights
• Demonic Resurrection became the first Indian band to be covered by an international artist when Jangli Jagga of Pakistan covered their song Demonic Resurrection. Since the band has been covered frequently by local and international acts like Threinody (Bangalore), Xenon (Bombay), Kinky Ski Monkeys (Bombay), Caffine Messiah (USA) and Citation (USA).

• Have released two albums, the debut being Demonstealer followed by their second album A Darkness Descends.
